1. Participatory Planning and Budgeting

Participation in problem diagnosis and identification involves engaging citizens and stakeholders in the process of collecting and analyzing information to identify and explain the problems that directly or indirectly affect them, based on data, ideas, facts, experiences, and proposals related to the characterization of the situation at hand. 4.2 Call for entries with the challenge

The Regional Autonomous Corporation of the Sinú and San Jorge Valleys (CVS), as part of its initiatives, is pleased to invite educational institutions in the municipality of Montería to participate in the contest “Circular Economy from the PRAE”, an initiative that seeks to highlight best practices related to the reuse and reduction of solid waste within the Projects

School Environmental Programs (PRAE).

4.3 Current challenges and report on the frequency of voting on solutions for each challenge

How to participate: Eacheducational institution must create a video (no longer than 3 minutes) showcasing the actions, ideas, strategies, or projects that promote the reduction and reuse of solid waste within the framework of the PRAE. The approach must be aligned with the principles of the circular economy.

Deadline for video submissions:September 1, 2025

4.4 Selected Proposal and Selection Criteria

Evaluation and Selection: Ajury of experts in circular economy issues will shortlist the best videos, taking into account criteria such as creativity, environmental impact, feasibility, and student participation. The finalist videos will be presented during the Circular Economy Forum, which will take place in the CVS auditorium on September 26, where the winners will be announced.

First place: Playgroundmade of plastic-coated wood.

Second place: Aneco-friendly spot and a visit to the green classroom at

CVS

Third place: Aneco-friendly spot.

This contest is an opportunity to highlight the commitment of these institutions

educational initiatives focused on environmental stewardship, innovation, and the development of a

environmentally responsible citizens.

Requirements for participation:

✓ Be an officially recognized educational institution in the municipality of Montería.

✓ Have an active or developing School Violence Prevention Program (PRAE) in place.

✓ Submit an original video (max. 3 minutes long) that demonstrates:

measures to manage and reduce solid waste,

student participation, coordination with the PRAE, and positive impact.

  • Video features:

✓ Landscape format, minimum HD quality (720p).

✓ Maximum duration: 3 minutes.

✓ You can include images, interviews, testimonials, animations, or

stories.

✓ You must include the name of the institution, the project title, and the participants.

✓ One video per institution.

4.5 Work Plan for Implementing the Designed Solution

Submission of videos for the “Circular Economy” contest

"from the PRAE": Aspart of efforts to strengthen the

environmental education and institutional commitment to promoting

sustainable practices, on September 1, 2025, the

official acceptance of the audiovisual products corresponding to the

Call for entries for the “Circular Economy through the PRAE” contest, an initiative that

aims to highlight and recognize educational experiences in the areas of

circular economy initiatives developed by educational institutions in the

the municipality of Montería.

At this stage of the contest, seven videos were submitted by various

educational communities, specifically from the following institutions:

– INEM Educational Institution – Nuevo Bosque

– Los Garzones School

– INEM Educational Institution – Montería

– Los Araujos School

– Santa Fe Educational Institution

– Guillermo Valencia Educational Institution

– Pueblo Bujo Educational Institution

Each audiovisual project demonstrates the efforts of teachers and students to

incorporate the principles of the circular economy into the project framework

School Environmental Programs (PRAE), showcasing practices related to reduction,

reuse and recycling of waste, innovation in educational processes

and raising environmental awareness within the academic community.

At the institutional level, the CVS, through this initiative, reaffirms its

commitment to promoting the circular economy starting with basic education and

on average, creating a situation that not only recognizes the efforts of the

participating institutions, but also helps to strengthen a

sustainable environmental culture in Montería.

Sending of reminder letters regarding the “Circular Economy” competition

The purpose of this meeting is to highlight successful examples of

utilization of waste and promote the exchange of knowledge among

institutional stakeholders in the municipality of Montería.
